Metroid Other M: Samus Aran (Figma)

Just in case you're not aware: A new Metroid game was just released!  It's a remake of the old Gameboy game, Metroid II: The Return of Samus, though they're changing it up a bit and calling it Metroid: Samus Returns (I'm sure you can handle the massive name change). In the sprit of my ridiculous, dog-like excitement, I'm finally going to review the Figma Samus.  Mission start!

Octobersbest: Mackinac Island (Photo) Shootout with Link

 

As mentioned in the previous Mythic Legions review: I went up to Mackinac Island, for my birthday. You can see the Mythic Legions shots in the review, but I brought two other guys with me as well...

The last of the new wave: Tanooki Suit Mario!  The fabled suit, back in the day, and now a common occurrence in current Mario games.  This one was a bit of a surprise, as I figured they wouldn't hit something this cool so soon!  Lets take a look at what I can feasibly pass off as a "review."

The World of Nintendo toyline by Jakks Pacific continues, with two figures that should honestly be in stores right now: but aren't!  Who knows why Toys R Us won't stock them?  'Cause they're the only ones getting the larger figures!  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-----

The Nintendo train keeps rolling!  Jakks Pacific has yet another wave of five inch figures out in stores.  Which new faces do we need to look out for?

Here it is!  The number one toy to put in a backwards time capsule so my kid self could have made use of this figure: Samus Aran, star of the video game series: Metroid.

His Coconut Gun Can Fire in Spurts: DONKEY. KONG.

Yeah, he doesn't have a coconut gun.  That title might throw you off if you've never heard the DK Rap.  You also might be thrown off if you have heard the DK Rap.  You also ALSO might be thrown off by THAT FACE.

Wait, he's not named Zelda?  Then why did they call the game that?!

King A'Da Koopas

So, this is a thing!  Jakks Pacific started making these "World of Nintendo" sets with teeny tiny Mario figures that go with these little mini-world playsets of Super Mario levels.  I am staying away from them for reasons.  You know, I buy one set, I'll get 'em all.  This, however, is different!  It's in the same World of Nintendo line, but they're regular action figures.  As you can see...they've made a Bowser!
