Octobersbest: Let's Look at Them Ghost Toys
Turns out I have a lot of ghost toys (more or less; we'll accept a few oddballs). Probably because ghost toys are often translucent or glow-in-the-dark, and I'm all about that biz.

Masters of the Universe Classics: Year by Year - 2017 Super 7 Takes Over
Masters of the Universe Classics was over...but was the demand? It was no secret that Mattel was done with it - Classics was a hassle, and the people with the ability to juggle quality, fan requests, complaints, and the website to sell it - were gone or done as well. Was anyone willing to shoulder the burden?

This was it! 2015 pushed through with a sub drive, asking people to jump all-in as much as possible so that they could squeeze out just one more year for Classics. Well, 2016 came along and they went for it again! The collector's couldn't be squeezed much more, however. Come on in and find out what we got for the last year of Masters of the Universe Classics!

Masters of the Universe Classics: Year by Year - 2013
Hey, you're back! Not tired of this yet, I see. Well, 2012 made some folks a little tired, and while Masters of the Universe Classics didn't slow down, it did start to show some skid marks while it careened a bit on a few twists and turns. Why don't we look back on 2013 and see what they did to spice things up?

AAAAAND, I'm back with 2012 of Masters of the Universe Classics! 2012 was Armageddon, as we all know; so that made it hard to order the figures. Let's see how that worked out!

Masters of the Universe Classics: Year by Year - 2008 to 2009
This may seem redundant, seeing as how I started this blog to showcase all my Masters of the Universe Classics pictures, but I seem to find myself slowing down in terms of full-on reviews. That's not to say that'll I'll stop, but I felt like Instagram gave me a reason to run down each figure in a few shots (or less). Since I photographed ALL of them, why don't we do some year by year short reviews for each figure?

1/12th Scale TOA Heavy Industries Synthetic Human (and its Collared and Reprogrammed Variant)
If you're into toy photography, you may have seen this fellow walking around the uncanny valley. It started out as an excellent twelve inch figure, and then 1000Toys (the company that made it) shrunk it down to six inches. This is that glorious six inch figure.

BEASTBOX: A Box that is also a Beast
What is it with me and things that transform into boring stuff? Like spheres, or....well, boxes! There's just something about a good old fashioned shape-former, and in recent years: They don't get much better than this!

The Tomfoolery Times
Greetings! Have you gotten tired of checking in to see no updates? Well...I'm working on it. My "grace period" from Photobucket is up (I think?), and I'm all done archiving the over 300 posts I've made since 2012. When the "grace period" was over, nearly all my posts (save for the recent ones) were going to be a big pile of broken photo links. So far...they're still up. No idea why. I was fairly certain that the links would break once the year was up, but things are still going.
Once they DO all cut and run, I'm going to be re-uploading all the photos straight to blogger, since they give me a certain amount of free space (which is a larger amount of space than what I was already paying photobucket for). This means...well, it means that it'll take a LOOONG time to get this thing back up and running again, though I guess it doesn't matter for now.
As you'd expect, I'm going to plug my Instagram account as a replacement for my blog in the interim. As I go through the blog, I'm also copying comics and pictures and just tossing them up on the Instagrams (which sounds like a delicious cereal), but it's also a nice and easy way for me to do tiny reviews 'n such (for new toys). It's nice to be able to work on something when I get a chance, throughout the day, without needing the time to sit at my laptop and edit. On the other hand...it does mean less comics, but I'm not giving up on those.
I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things, when time provides. In the mean time, I'll be living it up with the kid in the photo above, and probably use a ton of the Instagram photos from last year to make some reviews 'n such. Thanks for sticking with me, if you have, and if you haven't: Hey. I love you. Come back to me.
