I've still got a post coming tomorrow, but I thought I'd toss this up beforehand. I was looking through my Photobucket and totally forgot that I had taken these shots on a whim. This has got to be my favorite look for classic Skeletor - the head designed off of Alcala's artwork from the old minicomics.
I've also paired him with my favorite custom sculpt Alcala Power Sword from EvilMike, and a Havoc Staff that I shortened myself (took out the wider section near the top). It ended up a tad too short, but still works for my purposes, as I thought the original MotUC Havoc Staff was too tall.
That is all! Just wanted to share that random photoshoot with you. I friggin' love this guy.
There is something about Skeletor. He's probably my favorite villain ever. I mean, I love Pinhead, Shredder, Thrawn, Vader, King Hsss, Venom, Omega Red, Dr. Doom, but Skeletor is the Man.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the 200x and Filmation designs, but the classics figure still works, exceptionally well. It's almost impossible to find a bad angle on this guy, and he's so fun to pose; as evidenced by your above pics.

Yeah, Skeletor is certainly at the top of my list - various versions of him! This one is high up there with the movie version. Love that movie version.
