The January Review: Favorites of 2016

I noticed a trend of awesome video game toys for 2016, but that doesn't mean those were the only awesome toys!  Here's a list of general favorites from my first year with a baby, so I...you know, didn't really get to talk about most of them.

Mega Bloks TMNT: Mike and Don (and two Blind Bags)

Mega Bloks is back (in my hands) with some new TMNT stuff and the tiniest articulation they can muster!

NT-01 Cerebral: Very Probably Krang (Definitely, But Don't Tell Anyone)

NT-01 Cerebral is Krang's robot body, and you should tell everyone.  Honestly though, they should already know.  Look at this thing!  What else could it be?

Coulson and the Furious Hill: Marvel Legends Avengers 3-Pack

I dunno what happened!  At some point Hasbro was like: "We're goin' back 3 3/4 inch figures!" and Marvel Legends fell to the wayside.  Now they're all like: "Okay, back to 6 inch again!"  Whadoya want from me Hasbro? 

Oh right, money.

OH MAN, there were so many more of these than I had anticipated!  Here we are at the second part - and I can tell ya right now - there will be a third.  I'm saving the best for last, though, so here's some good-to-just-okay ones.

The whole joke with Grayskull finally got that monster off my table!  I figured: Why not take advantage of that and dust off the Ghostbuster house for some TMNT pics?

BUT WHAT TO CHOOSE?!  I haven't reviewed any TMNT in a long while, but I've still been buying them!  They're piling up, man.

*Sigh* Why don't we just review everything?

An Update/Schwag Brag

OH MAN you have no idea how much I had wanted this guy back in the day.  Holy grail, I tell ya.  Well, one of 'em.

'Cause if they sound anything like this then I'm out.  That's too many brains talkin' like frogs that smoked too much jello, or whatever gets your voice to that level of nauseous gooeyness.

Nickelodeon TMNT: Foot Soldierin' It up

Robots?  Humans?  Doesn't matter!  They've always been the backbone of the Foot Clan - and by "backbone" I mean having them broken - so you know there's gona be a fight whenever these mooks are around.  Er...there's gona be fight that's completely out of their favor, I mean. 

Back Again with Nick's TMNT: SHREDDER

What's a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toyline without a guy covered in blades called Shredder?  Nothin'!  That's what.  So here we go!  If there's a TMNT toyline, then I'm gona buy a Shredder.  I'd like to, anyway.  There were a ton of great Shredders over the years, but most of them were back in the day when I had to ask my parents for 'em and...you know, happen to catch the figures in the store.  For instance, I never found Super Shredder!  Dunno why I never ran into him (or why I would want a guy that was around for a few minutes before being crushed under a dock and a massive end-movie "cowabunga.")
