Doesn't matter; let's jump in to it!

Masters of the Universe Classics: Year by Year - 2017 Super 7 Takes Over

Masters of the Universe Classics was over...but was the demand? It was no secret that Mattel was done with it - Classics was a hassle, and the people with the ability to juggle quality, fan requests, complaints, and the website to sell it - were gone or done as well. Was anyone willing to shoulder the burden?

Masters of the Universe Classics: Year by Year - 2008 to 2009

This may seem redundant, seeing as how I started this blog to showcase all my Masters of the Universe Classics pictures, but I seem to find myself slowing down in terms of full-on reviews. That's not to say that'll I'll stop, but I felt like Instagram gave me a reason to run down each figure in a few shots (or less). Since I photographed ALL of them, why don't we do some year by year short reviews for each figure?

What's in the Box?! (Issue #1)

Welcome to the first issue of what will be a continued effort to...well, force myself to look through the boxes shoved into my garage.  Each box will have different old pieces of junk and toys (and junk toys) that will absolutely NOT be guaranteed to be interesting or clean in any way!  Some of them went straight into the trash after this.

Join me!  ...please?

Fortress of Mystery and Power - PART FOUR: Superfluous Supplementary

What, part four?!  Why??

To wrap up the "story", of course!  Perhaps there are a couple more things I didn't cover, as well?  I dunno man, I'm not paying attention.

Poseocalypse - Ultra Act: Evil Tiga

I was ordering a couple shows off Amazon ("Are you Afraid of the Dark" and "Rick and Morty", if you must know) and needed to push it into the free shipping range.  Just a little bit!  So I added a forty dollar figure.

IN THE YEAR TWO-THOOOUSSAAAAND (and two)

Go ahead and think back to when you were five, or somewhere around that area.  Now, using your five-year-old brain: think about the year 2000.  Crazy, right?  Well this mother is from 2002, and it was the year that Mattel decided to smack us with Masters of the Universe again, but this time with a little help from the Four Horsemen, Sculptors of Detail and all Things Totally METAL.

In The Beginning, There Was....

Before time began...the 80's.  There wasn't anything before that, right?  Anyway: There was THIS.  Castle Grayskull!  Fortress of Mystery and Power!

...also a playset for your toys.  But man, what a playset!

The Many Faces of Man-E-Faces (Aug. '11)

OH MAN - another freak!  And this one is a doozy, I tell ya.  Man-E-Faces is the king of the idea that if you put a bunch of cool things together, then you get something cool out of the collaboration.  This is one of those guys where I swear they just sculpted something they thought boys would like and added a feature that they knew would be fun, but then just slapped any old story to him afterward.

I Keep Barely Taking Pics of Awesome Figures (Jan '11)

VIKOR IS AWESOME.  I'm serious.  Great figure.  Barely took any pics, but a great figure all the same.  It's one of those stand-out figures from the line that breaks the boundaries down.  If you like Conan, barbarian types, MotU, or just good toys, then you should own Vikor.

Thanks for the Escape (Oct. '10)

These guys know how to put my favorites on my birth month!  Scareglow was November, but he was supposed to be October, so I still count him.  Roboto is October proper, though!  And if you read my opening post, you know robots are one of my top favorite things.

These are the Jokes, People

Random Jokes!  Most of these were either just random or responses to posts.  As usual, I can't remember what some of them were responding to.

Learn Dark Magic, Totally Ignore it and Toss Acid In Brother's Face (June '10)

Guess what?  This is Skeletor before the whole face melting thing!  Yeah I know; pretty obvious.  Anyway, this is one of those things that was only fleshed out in the 200X series, sorta.  One of the final minicomics in the vintage days tried to explore the disappearance of King Randor's brother Keldor, and Skeletor tried very hard to counter the search so that they never knew of the truth behind Keldor...but the minicomic story was never finished, due to the death of the toyline.
