Anyway yeah, that grate decal has always been a favorite. Hell, I'd wear that on a shirt, too! It's just awesome.

As for Extendar, I think I got him before the 2002 stuff. He's in damn nice shape! Must have gotten lucky back then. It was around a time when the stuff wasn't terribly hard to find. I think it was the same market where I found the armored Cobra Commander and a second New Adventures He-Man ('cause I had lost my first one's sword in an armchair somehow). Hm...I think I also found my headless Scorponok there as well! Man, I miss that place. I doubt it has as much cool stuff anymore.

Anyhow, yeah! I noticed that peace sign back there, but I always thought it was a mistake or something. Like it just happened to look that way. But honestly, it's just a straight up peace sign! Weird. The bottom floor was the trash compactor which actually compacted and came with this foam "trash" that has pretty much all dissolved by now. There was a top floor with a big laser cannon and I think there was a place for Luke to swing across a pit with Leia, too.

But I think the cardboard one was a British release only? I've seen some pics of it and it's really impressive despite being made of paper.Draculahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00587852177919783864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8607162899803883062.post-51637211692473326182013-12-24T15:09:55.669-05:002013-12-24T15:09:55.669-05:00*refresh*

All the gross, dripping things and cartoonish weirdness. I also like that it doesn't show any established MOTU character. As a kid stuff like that bugged me since I might be playing with that character who is simultaneously depicted as already in the playset, ya know?

Also I gotta note that I, as well, purchased Extendar from a fleamarket in my teens. I had a big MOTU kick around that time as it was when the 2002 series was going on. (Maybe same for you too?) I eventually sold off my Extendar along with most of my vintage guys, but he was one of my favorites for a long time. Did you ever notice that he has a peace sign on the back of his neck?Draculahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00587852177919783864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8607162899803883062.post-23700043742697577922013-12-24T13:25:23.838-05:002013-12-24T13:25:23.838-05:00Thanks man!
